Originally from Howell, Michigan, and now living in Fenton, Karter developed his marketing foundation early in his career while working at a digital marketing agency in Lansing, where he gained practical experience that helped shape his passion for the industry. While he earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, much of Karter’s expertise comes from staying immersed in the ever-evolving digital landscape, frequently taking courses and expanding his knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends.
As Marketing Lead at Custom Built Design & Remodeling, Karter helps shape the company’s digital vision and long-term growth strategy. His role spans paid advertising, SEO, and digital brand development, all focused on strengthening Custom Built’s online presence and connecting with homeowners in meaningful ways.
Karter is especially passionate about Custom Built’s mission to become the #1 remodeling company in Michigan. He’s also inspired by the company’s long-term vision of helping other businesses grow, which drives his day-to-day work and reinforces his commitment to building something that creates lasting impact.
Outside of work, Karter enjoys staying active and can often be found at the gym. He’s also passionate about continuous learning, regularly exploring new strategies and ideas within digital marketing. When he’s not working or learning, he enjoys unwinding with a good TV show or movie.
