After residing in the house for approximately 13 years, the basement space had become overrun with clutter and miscellaneous items. However, with a clear vision in mind, Dave sought out Custom Built to help bring their dream basement to life. While collaborating with the team, Dave wanted a multifunctional space that would accommodate various activities. The design included a designated bar area, a cozy spot for watching TV, and a spacious area for the kids to play. By transforming the basement, Dave’s family now has a centralized area where everyone can gather and enjoy each other's company, with separate zones for different activities, providing adults and children with designated areas to relax and unwind.
Throughout the build phase of the basement project, Custom Built provided support, guiding the homeowner through each step of the process. Working closely with Michael and our production team, Dave found the experience to be an exciting journey. As the transformation unfolded, with Dave working from home, he eagerly anticipated each day's progress. The expanded basement area also had an unexpected benefit, allowing Dave to shift his TV area downstairs, freeing up the living room upstairs for more intimate family gatherings and conversations.
