Carrie Sieffert

Lead Designer for Custom Built Design & Remodeling.

Design Portfolio

With a background spanning kitchen and bath design, corporate office design, and Aging in Place solutions, Carrie Sieffert brings a well-rounded, practical perspective to every project she touches. Her experience allows her to design spaces that are not only beautiful but highly functional, helping homeowners feel comfortable, safe, and confident in their homes for years to come.

As Lead Designer at Custom Built, Carrie guides the design process from start to finish. She conducts site measurements and kickoff meetings, interviews clients to understand how they truly live in their spaces, and solves complex layout challenges with thoughtful, family-focused solutions. She creates functional designs, presents concepts to clients, curates finishes and color palettes, and manages the detailed documentation that turns ideas into reality.

Carrie is especially passionate about Custom Built’s mission to impact families. She approaches every project by first focusing on how a space needs to function for the homeowner, often offering creative solutions clients may never have considered.

A Lansing-area native now living in Bath, Carrie earned her degree in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology, where she initially focused on restaurant design.

Outside of work, she enjoys camping throughout Michigan, kayaking, gardening, and cooking, which fuels her love for designing kitchens that flow well for entertaining and everyday life.
