Ali serves as Custom Built’s HR Manager, leading the entire “people function," from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, training, and compliance. She works closely with leadership to support our team and help shape a strong, healthy culture where employees feel valued and equipped to grow.
She’s especially energized by our “Grow or Die” mission. Always learning and improving, Ali is passionate about refining processes, strengthening systems, and building something better than yesterday.
Ali grew up in Kentwood, MI and Fort Wayne, IN, and now lives in Woodland, MI, with her husband and two children in their forever home. She began working at 16 and built her HR expertise through hands-on experience and grit. Outside of work, she loves hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, traveling, reading, writing novels and devotionals, recreating healthier recipes at home, and spending time with her two (very spoiled) shih tzus.
