With all that is taking place in the world right now related to the Covid-19 pandemic and with the temporary, state-issued “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, we want to let you know what we are doing to help keep our clients and staff safe, while at the same time keeping the project development process moving forward.

Please know that we are taking this matter very seriously.  We want to inform you about what measures we are taking to keep our community, clients, staff, and trade partners safe during the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order and what measures we will be taking once the order has been lifted.

Scheduling Virtual Design & Budget Consultations

While the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Order is in place.  We are open for business and still available to talk with you about any new home remodeling or outdoor living project you are interested in starting.  During this time we providing a wide-range of upfront planning services to get your project going. 

The average home remodeling project takes around 8 to 12 weeks to go from our very first meeting until the start of construction. So even if you started planning today, your project would most likely not officially start in construction until at least the middle of June.  Which at that time most medical experts are expecting this situation to be more under control.

Whether you are practicing social distancing during this time or simply too busy for an in-person meeting, scheduling one of our virtual consultations might be the answer.

How We Will Operate After The "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Order Is Lifted

Once the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order has been lifted and we are able to resume in-person consultations and construction, we will we adhering to the follow procedures to keep our clients and staff safe.


Every individual will use hand sanitizer and/or washing their hands upon entering the office environment.All samples in the office are sanitized each time they are touched.

All frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected at the beginning, during after each meeting and end of each day using

Anyone displaying symptoms will be asked to immediately leave the office and anything that they have touched will be disinfected.


If you would prefer to schedule a video conference call instead of having an in-person meeting, we have the technology to arrange that for you. We want to continue working on your project in whatever manner that is most effective for you and keeps all safety measures in place. Please let us know how you would like to proceed regarding any in-person meetings or visits to your home.

If we do need to meet in-person, whether at the office or in your home, we will follow all the recommended precautionary steps, including washing hands and/or sanitizing prior to and after all meetings, disinfecting meeting areas, door handles, and any material samples prior to and after each meeting.

We will make sure that any staff member who is not feeling well will be working remotely.



We are taking extra precautions by disinfecting our work locations at the beginning and end of each day including; door handles, light switches, faucets, trash receptacles, work surfaces, and company vehicles.

While working in or at your home we will be following the best hygiene and safety measures, as listed below:

We will be setting up containment areas around any room or space we are working in. Including doorways, hallways and any adjacent rooms. We will also be covering floors with plastic runners.

All workers will wear shoe covers when necessary.

Daily cleaning of workspaces, including but not limited to:

  • Disposing of any trash.
  • Vacuuming.
  • Disinfecting and wiping down any surfaces in the staging area, work area, and any entries that were used.
  • Workers will use a porta potty or offsite bathroom.
  • Frequent hand washing / sanitizing through the course of the day.
  • Any worker who is sick or not feeling well will not participate in work in your home.


As the situation continues to develop and new practices are being recommended, it is our goal to implement the highest standards possible for keeping our clients, their families and our staff safe.  

Whatever measures can be taken to help during this time we will be taking the lead to do what is right to protect our community.  We are committed to providing the highest standards in the Lansing region for home remodeling and the same will be our response to this tragic situation.
